Fighting spam in our company has been a nightmare for the last decade. At first, I had to subscribe to an anti-spam service—something I’d never needed before. It worked initially, but as spam grew exponentially each year, becoming more dangerous (not just annoying), my original solution quickly became inadequate. After a few years, I switched to a well-known alternative to combat this plague. Again, the first couple of years were fine, but by early 2024, it was completely overwhelmed. The problem spiraled out of control; even our antivirus struggled to keep up with new global malware threats. We needed something that could perform clinical triage on emails—the most dangerous gateway for malware in our company. I found SpamHero by sheer luck. After trialing several solutions with little success—either due to poor filtering or overly complex setups—I decided to ask DeepSeek for recommendations. Based on my requirements, it unequivocally suggested SpamHero. Period. Why SpamHero Stands Out Effortless Setup: Server configuration took minutes, with straightforward "yes/no" choices for how aggressive the filtering should be (low-profile vs. harsh wall). No clutter, no confusion. Unmatched Accuracy: The moment I enabled it, I was astonished. It filtered all malicious emails while letting legitimate ones through—near 100% precision out of the box. I’m only fine-tuning now for the rare <1% edge cases. Geographical Filtering: A gem of a feature—blocks emails from regions we’d never expect legitimate traffic from. Customer Service: 5 stars. They’ve helped me tailor the product to our needs every step of the way. Pricing: For the security it delivers? Unbeatable. As IT director, it’s one less headache—and worth every penny. DeepSeek was right. This was the solution for me. Period.

We recently move to spamhero from another provider. The initial setup was very straightforward and took under an hour. We have a hybrid setup with mailboxes in both Exchange-On-Line and on premises, Spamhero is able to work with this setup without any issues. The support section of the website is very conprehensive and covers everything we needed to get setup and working quickly. Overall I was very impressed with the Spamhero system.

I was put onto SpamHero by my Internet Service Provider (actually, the ISP just provides me with connectivity, I provide my own servers). This was as a result of Microsoft bouncing any emails from my domain (and, it seems, from any domain from my ISP). The work-around has been to use SpamHero, so my outgoing messages to a Microsoft Outlook customer do not get bounced. This works well. Whilst I do have spam filtering in my servers, it so happens that SpamHero captures a lot more spam (and Phishing emails) than my servers have done. I did have to adjust SpamHero to not quarantine from some legitimate senders, but with SpamHero, that is a straightforward process AND you don't lose any of those emails that were sent to you because of the way SpamHero works. All in all, it is a good product, and I do recommend it, not only for those with my use case but for those looking for an organization to filter their incoming (and outgoing) mail.

We were getting over 150 spam messages per day in each of 15 email boxes. We tried different approaches to filter out the spam but nothing worked. Then we found Spam Hero. Setup was breeze and it started filtering out spam from day one. We made a few tweaks over the next couple of weeks and Hooray! Now we only get a few messages a day that are spam and we simply add those to the list, to never be seen again. We highly recommend Spam Hero.
