When using SpamHero with Hepsia, you need to leave the original MX records in place.  Unfortunately, when Hepsia detects that the default MX records have been dropped, the control panel also automatically disables email services.  To prevent this from happening, do the following:

  1. Instead of removing the existing MX records, just increase the priority of these records to 50.
  2. Add the SpamHero MX records that are assigned to your domain using the suggested priorities (10, 20, 30, 40).

By leaving the original MX records in place, some spam will still be delivered without filtering.  Please see the following article for ideas on how to prevent unfiltered email from being delivered:
